SB General Music - Fifth Grade
SB General Music - Fifth Grade
Students in fifth grade continue to build upon learning in previous grades. They recognize complex note values and time signatures. They experience complex meters and improvisation. They begin to analyze chord changes, refine simple forms, and label extended forms. They continue to build their musical terminology bank.
Student Behavior Expectations are based on the word, MUSIC.

Grading is based upon the following criteria:
- Demonstrates progress in musical skills
- Participates in class activities
- Respects musical equipment
- Cooperates with the teacher and classmates
