SB General Music - First Grade

In First Grade, students establish a sense of pulse and an understanding of long/short and fast/slow.  They continue to develop pitch matching and begin to experience more than one sound at a time in rhythm, instruments, and vocal exploration.  Students develop aural recognition and demonstrate an understanding of visual representation. Musical terminology is introduced.

Student Behavior Expectations are based on the word, MUSIC.
