Mrs. Rupp has been with the Freeport Area School District for 20 years. She has been a long term 6th grade teacher, long term 4th grade teacher and then hired as a Kindergarten teacher here at Freeport. She taught Kindergarten for 7 years and now she is going into her 13th year as an RtII Specialist/Gifted Support Teacher at South Buffalo. Mrs. Rupp graduated from Clarion University with her bachelor's in Early Childhood/Elementary Education with a coaching certification. After teaching kindergarten for a few years she pursued her master's in education at Indiana University.

Fifth Grade

The fifth graders meet once a six day cycle for flexible guided reading. The fifth grade also has three days of flex. They also have progress monitoring time set up in the six day cycle. Fifth grade also has math groups two days a week.
