Mr. Lowry is currently in his eleventh year of teaching at Freeport Area School District. He has spent time teaching health and physcial education at all of the district's elementary schools, but currently teachers at South Buffalo Elementary as well as Freeport Area Middle School. 

This year, physical education students at South Buffalo will once again worked participate in Jump Rope for Heart to raise money for the American Heart Association. Mr. Lowry has written and recieved grants for the Physical Education program at South Buffalo, Buffalo, Middle, and High School. He also serves as the Health and Physical Education Department Chair and the Help Desk Coordinator for South Buffalo Elementary.
